“Why do bad things happen to good people?” This is a thought that I have always seen flawed. We will ALL experience a “Tower” moment. This means we will have a rude awakening and a disruptive change usually caused from neglect in certain aspects of our lives. The Tower moment happens because at some point, we thought we could get away not addressing the red flags, the weak foundations, the writing on the wall.
Here’s my hot take: People who think this way have a sort of delusion that they are special and bad things should only happen to “bad” people. If we view the world in black and white and with little nuance we will always feel entitled to special treatment from the Universe. It reinforces the belief that in order to attain good things, we must adopt negative behavior like “bad” people do.
We are all bound by the Laws of the Universe, which includes cause and effect, correspondence, and vibrations. Just because you don’t see bad things happen to “bad” people, doesn’t mean they don’t have their own demons and consequences to deal with. Karma comes for all of us; no one is exempt.
To clear or lessen (negative) Karma, we have to stand in the light of the truth. Liberate ourselves and start reframing our worldview, embracing a broader understanding of the interconnectedness and complexity of life.
